Who was actually Chhaava:
Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the eldest son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, who was a major threat to the Mughal emperors. Sambhaji was born on May 14, 1657. His mother died when he was only two years old. He was brought up by his grandmother and Shivaji's mother Jijabai.
According to historians, Sambhaji fought more than 120 battles with Mughal soldiers and won every battle. However, Aurangzeb, unable to succeed by force, arrested Sambhaji by deception. After torturing him for a long time, Sambhaji was killed on 11 March 1689.

In Indian history, Chhatrapati Sambhaji was a unique and extremely courageous person. The eldest son of Maratha leader Shivaji Maharaj, Sambhaji inherited his father's empire as well as his father's bravery and endurance.
When Shivaji Maharaj died in 1680, Shivaji's second son Rajaram was crowned. Sambhaji, on receiving this news, along with some well-wishers, killed Durga of Panhala and captured the fort. In the same year, Raigad Fort was also captured on 18 June 1680. Sambhaji was crowned on 20 July.
Sambhaji Maharaj ruled from 1657 to 1689. After the death of Chhatrapati Shivaji in 1680, Sambhaji began to challenge the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb with valor and courage.
He fought about 120 battles during his short reign and won every battle. Sambhaji is said to have had a strained relationship with his father Shivaji. He was accused of non-performance and unnecessary hobbies. But despite this, Sambhaji implemented the security and safety of the state in his own way.
Mughal emperor Aurangzeb was worried about the continuous defeat due to Sambhaji's brave and cunning war strategy.
The supporters of Shivaji's second son Rajaram wrote a letter to Aurangzeb's son Akbar asking him to help him invade the kingdom and become the ruler. But Akbar was well aware of the bravery of Chhatrapati Sambhaji. He wrote her a letter and told her everything. Angered by the betrayal, Sambhaji executes all the traitors.
When Aurangzeb failed to win by force, Sambhaji was captured by deception. Aurangzeb was so angry with Sambhaji that he brutally tortured Sambhaji. Sambhaji was killed by Aurangzeb on 11 March 1689 after being physically tortured.
